Sharon Graetz

Limudim Director

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Sharon moved to Northern California with her family as a child.  She graduated from UC Davis with degrees in History and Latin American Studies.  Sharon is a graduate of Hebrew Union College, with MA degrees in Jewish Education and Jewish Nonprofit Management.

Sharon has embraced a wide array of leadership positions within the Jewish community, with experiences ranging from programming at the Westside Jewish Community Center, to developing curriculum for Temple Isaiah in Los Angeles and Jewish Kids Groups in Atlanta.  Most recently, she enjoyed her role as Youth and Family Education Director at Congregation B’nai Torah, in Atlanta, where she collaborated with students, staff, and families to revitalize the religious school. Sharon is driven by her passion to infuse deep Jewish learning with positive and fun experiences.

Sharon looks forward to returning to Los Angeles with her husband, Adam, who is starting at The Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies, and their new son, Milo. She loves cooking, winding down with a good book, and staying active.  She is extremely excited to join the IKAR community as Limudim Director. You can reach her at [email protected].
