Samuel “Joey” Alleyne

Director of Operations

Growing up in Nassau, Bahamas, Samuel was a bridge builder (of sorts) with an uncanny knack for connecting people to resources. His desire to unite people through connections of the mind, body, and spirit is exactly what excites him about IKAR’s belief in multiethnic and interfaith communities re-emerging as “sources of spiritual strength and first responders to injustice, inequality, and indifference.”

Samuel holds an MBA in Nonprofit Management from American Jewish University where he co-founded and co-chair the AJU MBA Alumni Network. He has served in both private and non-profit sectors as an Adjunct Professor at California State University Dominguez Hills, a Loan Analyst for Jewish Free Loan Association, Principal Consultant for his own firm, Alleyne Connect, and acted as Strategic Advisor for a myriad of organizations including S.T.R.E.A.M. Kids Expo, Little Voices, and FAME Legal Clinic (a partnership between Temple Isaiah and First AME Church).

He and wife, Collette, share a radical passion for music, dance, and their children Paris, Ari, and Alahna. Feel free to reach out to him at samuel@ikar.la.org.
