Rabbi Ronit Tsadok

Associate Rabbi/Director of Community Learning

Like many Angelenos, Rabbi Ronit Tsadok is an East Coast transplant who came to LA for the sunshine. But not long after, through a series of fortuitous events (thanks Rabbi Scott Perlo!) Rabbi Tsadok joined the staff of IKAR in 2008 as an Educational/Rabbinic Intern. She has been thrilled to be on the team since then, making the transition to Rabbinic Fellow after her ordination from the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies in 2012, and now Associate Rabbi. She is grateful to have found IKAR, where traditional and innovative, past and present, personal and communal, particular and universal are all ingredients in creating a Judaism that is resonant and rooted.

Over the many years that she has been at IKAR, Rabbi Tsadok has been spotted soaring with our ECC and Limudim kids, traveling with teens on service learning trips, poring over texts with IKARites across Los Angeles, bringing spirit and song to our Shabbat and Holiday services, and more. And if you’re here for the Baby Noa content, Rabbi Tsadok and her wife Sarah’s daughter isn’t a baby anymore, but we can always remember Noa as featured guest star of many a COVID-era IKAR Zoom. And in 2023, Lucy joined the crew.

Reach out to Rabbi Tsadok if you’d like to talk about all things kids and families, assorted programs throughout the year, our Jews/People of Color and LGBTQ+ groups or music. Email her at [email protected].
