Alexandra Shabtai is Associate Director of the Diane and Guilford Glazer Philanthropies, a leading charitable presence in Los Angeles promoting vibrant Jewish community, social equity in Israel, and multi-faith and multi-ethnic peace and cooperation. She provides oversight for funding priorities, collaborations and strategic directions. A Los Angeles native, she has traveled extensively throughout the world for the love of adventure and cultural immersion. She is deeply dedicated to supporting the arts, having previously held positions in public arts engagement at the Hammer Museum, Machine Project, and ForYourArt. She is the founder of SPArt, a funding initiative empowering artists to serve as agents of social change. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Boston University and a Masters degree from USC Marshall School of Business in Social Entrepreneurship.
