IKAR Teen Program
Approximately every other Shabbat, teens meet to discuss and explore issues close to their hearts, such as friendships, relationships, peer pressure, body image, current events, political climate, and other issues relevant to them. This program takes place between 10:30am and 12:15pm on alternating Saturdays during the school year.
Madrichim (teachers’ assistants)
This program develops useful leadership skills through working as teachers and office assistants. The Madrichim undergo training that includes learning how to work with younger students and developing professional and organization skills. The Madrichim are expected to act as role-models to the greater Limudim community.
IKAR teens will have an opportunity to attend recreational, social, and social justice-focused events once a month, which will enable them to create, develop, and foster friendships – as well as deepen their engagement and commitment to the Jewish community. Be sure to follow our Limudim community emails to stay in the loop on all events.
