Claire was born in Israel and raised in Toronto. After graduating from Concordia University with a degree in in Spanish, she lived in Spain for two years, studying and teaching English in Madrid. She then settled in NYC where she worked in affordable housing, managing programs for low-income housing cooperatives. She’s a recent transplant to L.A.
Claire is an avid traveler and trip planner, a food nerd who loves cooking and hosting, and a Jewish social justice program junkie (Bend the Arc Jeremiah fellow alum and Avodah Jewish Service Corps alum). She’s co-chair of Bend the Arc’s advocacy committee on housing and homelessness, and on the volunteer committee for Shared Plates, LA Kitchen’s annual fundraiser.
