Born and raised in LA, I was precisely what Rabbi Brous so eloquently describes: I was a disaffected and unaffiliated jew who thought going to shul meant wasting a morning hearing prayers on autopilot. But then IKAR literally moved into my backyard. Desperate to get my two high energy little girls out of the house and somewhere they could burn some energy, my husband and I started going to tot Shabbat and have become regulars. We are now proud IKAR ECC parents and love hosting IKAR events at our home.
By day, I’m a family and fertility law lawyer and mediator. My work days run the spectrum from helping build families through surrogacy contracts to resolving contentious divorces. I’m on the board of the Violence Intervention Program and the Leonard Hill Charitable Foundation.
It is truly an honor to join the Board of such an incredible organization that has given so much to me and my family.
