IKAR SUMMER LEARNING SERIES
Trying to figure out how to make sense of your Jewish life?
Join Rabbi Sharon Brous for some challenging learning and thinking in a 4 session class this June (Wednesday nights, weekly, at 8:00PM), as we try to get to the heart and soul of Jewish theology and practice.
We'll work toward a deeper understanding of:

| Shabbat and Holidays (transform your life, transform the world) |
06/13/07 at 8:00PM |
| Tefillah - Prayer (soulful, impactful spiritual practice) |
06/20/07 at 8:00PM |
| Kashrut and the Jewish Home (not as boring as it sounds) |
06/27/07 at 8:00PM |

You've got questions, we've got (some) answers:
- How much does it cost?
- Already an IKAR die-hard (member)? -- $72
Afraid of commitment? No pressure -- $90
Totally inspired? Cover someone else's registration fee -- $180 - What's so special about IKAR's approach to Judaism?
- IKAR's founding mission is to help us build authentic Jewish spiritual and religious lives that compel us to live our lives purposefully and meaningfully. Our commitment to social justice and social responsibility is core to our religious and spiritual lives, and the learning that we will engage in together will reflect our deepest commitments to uncovering a rich, authentic, soulful and purposeful Jewish voice.
- Who can sign up for IKAR's Saucy Summer Series?
- Everyone! This series is designed to be interesting and engaging for people of all different backgrounds. Whether you've never set foot in a synagogue or you're a big Jewish show-off, we encourage you to join us.
- How is this class different from Intro to Judaism?
- Our focus is different - our job, in a very limited period of time, is to communicate a taste of the meaning, beauty and purpose of Jewish life in a way that will leave you wanting more. If you've taken a great Intro to Judaism class, or if you think you ever will - fear not, this will not be redundant. This course is designed to complement that learning.
- How is this class different from religious School?
- This class will be accessible for people with no formal Jewish education, but stimulating and challenging for people who already have significant depth of knowledge and experience.
