Teens
IKAR Teens (anyone in 8th-12th grades) get to build a teen program together – to start something that has never been seen before at IKAR. When you became Bar or Bat Mitzvah, you became responsible for making the world a better place, for doing tikkun, for looking at the brokenness of our world and taking a hand in fixing it. Now we get to work together to build a program that will help us put our best intentions into action.

Teen Social Justice Beit Midrash
Join the Teen Social Justice Beit Midrash (and if you can think of a better name for this, you’ll get a prize. Seriously.). Twice a month on Saturdays, delve into Jewish texts with Evelyn Lewis-Enright, rab student and master teacher, as well as have the opportunity to learn from other teachers in the IKAR community. Register for the Beit Midrash here (the cost is $180 for the year).
Help out at Limudim
Help out at Limudim (get community service hours or even get paid to do a really good thing). Click here to fill out the Madrichim form.

Join the IKAR Teens facebook group to get information on our upcoming teen events including havdallah and s’mores, volunteering at PATH, teen Shabbat dinner, and whatever else you guys can think up. You can join the group here.
Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur
Join IKAR teens for some learning, some socializing and some Yoga on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. We will get together at 12:30pm on the first morning of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur in a place TBD. We also need some help with the kids programs, so please email me if you want to help, even if it is just for an hour.
