COME TO ISRAEL with IKAR
June 16-27, 2013
IKAR is taking its first trip to Israel as a community - and we want you to be a part of it! We'll visit Israel’s holy sites, explore a thriving arts and culture scene, drink great Israeli wine and infuse IKAR's davening with the sacred spirit of the Holy Land. Together we’ll delve into Israel's historical and contemporary triumphs and struggles, examining social, economic and environmental justice issues and paths toward peace with the Palestinians.
Our trip will be suitable for everyone from first-timers to Sabras, from folks traveling alone to those bringing their best friends, their 7-year-olds or their moms (with a separate bus for families with little ones.)
Space is limited. The price of the trip is not yet finalized, but will likely be around $3900 per person not including airfare. Children rooming with parents will be closer to $3400 per child. The price includes all ground transportation, lodging, and many (but not all) meals.
$1000 per person deposit is due by February 1, 2013 to assure your space on the trip. If by February 1, we have sufficient numbers to make the trip possible, the deposit becomes non-refundable amd will be applied to the total cost of the trip.
*please note that children sharing a room with parents will have a slight discount. However, we require the same deposit amount, and need a count of how many adults and childern are planning to join us.
