Are you a synagogue or what? Yes and no and kinda. Words like “synagogue” can feel constraining, and we want to think expansively about what Jewish life can be… so we think of ourselves as a spiritual community, and let the experience define itself.

Our community members are the motor of IKAR. Everything we do — from Shabbat services to programs, events and holiday gatherings — can only happen with the help of many, many pairs of hands; it’s truly not possible without the contributions of our amazing village.
